Gauge-fuel Datsun Cherry E10 25060-M0200 Damage.

This is a used tank float for the Datsun 100A sedan and coupe version.

Refers to position number 2 on the drawing.

This part has damage to one of the connection points on the top. See pictures.

Usually it is not the tank float that is causing the problem. A separate ground cable must be soldered to the tank float and ground separately and what also happens very often is that the voltage smoother under the dashboard does not work. It is located at the back of the dashboard and is a small relay box. In that box that you just open, there is a contact point that is oxidized. Just clean it with a little sandpaper and everything will probably work again. Usually if the voltage smoother does not work properly, the temperature meter also does not work properly.
