Gauge-fuel Datsun Cherry E10 25060-M0200 Used part.

This is a used fuel float for the Datsun 100A sedan and coupe model.

Technical information:

Usually it is not the fuel float that causes a malfunction. A separate ground cable must be soldered to the fuel float and separate ground must be made and what also happens very often is that the voltage flattener under the dashboard does not work. It is located at the back of the dashboard and is a small relay box. In that box that you open briefly there is a contact point that is oxidized. Clean it with small sandpaper and then everything will most likely work again. Usually if the voltage flattener does not work properly, the temperature gauge does not work properly either.
